David F. "Buddy" Bacon, Jr.

Mr. Bacon joined MSouth as a Partner in 2020 in the Nashville office. Prior to joining MSouth, Mr. Bacon was most recently employed by American Physician Partners as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President. Prior to joining American Physician Partners, Mr. Bacon served as Executive Vice President of Business Development for Capstar Bank where he specialized in healthcare lending. Before joining Capstar, Mr. Bacon served as CEO of Tractmanager, Inc.

From 2005 through 2013, Mr. Bacon was CEO and Co-Founder of Meridian Surgical Partners. From 1996 through 2004, Mr. Bacon was with Medifax EDI where he was a board member and held several C-Suite positions, including CEO. He has also held previous positions in public accounting as an audit manager and has over 25 years of experience working with private equity groups. Mr. Bacon holds a B.S. in Accounting from Lipscomb University.
