MSouth Announces Successful Exit of Southern HVAC
Atlanta, GA (October 1, 2021) – MSouth Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in Atlanta with an office in Nashville, announced the sale of Southern HVAC ("Southern HVAC" or the "Company") to Gryphon Investors. Southern HVAC, based in Orlando, FL, provides essential maintenance, repair, replacement and new installation services primarily for the residential heating, ventilation and air conditioning (“HVAC”), plumbing and electrical markets across the South and Midwest.
“We are very pleased with the result of our investment in Southern,” said Charles Stubbs, an MSouth Partner. “Bryan Benak and his team at Southern were critical to the value creation we experienced during our investment and in building one of the largest residential HVAC platforms in the South and Midwest through organic growth and a buy-and-build strategy. We were fortunate to partner with such an outstanding management team, and we look forward to watching their continued success.”
“I want to thank Charles Stubbs and the entire MSouth team for the support and confidence in the management team in allowing us to create value for Southern. Since the initial investment, they have provided the capital and resources necessary to build a successful organization,” added Bryan Benak, CEO of Southern.
